About
One year ago, Women Applying AI launched in Boston with a simple conviction: women are half of humanity, and we have both the responsibility and the opportunity to shape how AI transforms our work, our lives, and our world.
We’re coming back together during Boston AI Week 2026 to celebrate how far this community has come… and look ahead to what’s next.
This event is part anniversary celebration, part conversation about the future, and a recognition of people who are already putting AI to work in meaningful ways.
We’ll share stories from WAAI members whose careers, confidence, and work have changed over the past year. You’ll get a first look at the AI Confidence Index, a new Women Applying AI initiative designed to explore how people are feeling, learning, and adapting as AI becomes part of everyday work.
And because the future of AI extends well beyond the screen, we’ll dig into what happens when intelligent technology enters the physical world, with a provocative conversation about humans working alongside physical AI, followed by a live demonstration of Stella, the robot dog.
Of course, this is an anniversary. So there will be plenty of time to connect with the WAAI community, meet new people, enjoy food and drinks, and raise a glass to an extraordinary first year together.
Whether you’ve been part of Women Applying AI from the beginning, joined us somewhere along the way, or are just discovering the community, we’d love to celebrate with you.
