About
Part of MIT Future Fest, the inaugural five-day festival where MIT opens its doors to the world — more than 50 events across campus spanning immersive exhibitions, open laboratories, public talks, and unexpected performances, presented by the MIT Museum, MIT Technology Review, and the MIT Morningside Academy for Design. One festival pass covers all five days. Session times vary; the full program launches August 17 at mitfuturefest.org/program.
A day at the frontiers of the possible: quantum science, AI research, and the future of making. Future Labs run across campus with rare access to materials research, hands-on experimentation runs alongside big-picture conversations on artificial intelligence and governance, and the evening builds to a science salon and a performance weaving cinema, music, and Afrofuturism.
