About
Join the Wentworth Institute of Technology School of Architecture and Design (SoAD) for a special Boston AI Week event exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming architectural education, research, and practice.
This two-hour program brings together Wentworth faculty, researchers, alumni, and industry leaders for a series of rapid-fire PechaKucha-style presentations followed by a moderated roundtable discussion. Participants will examine emerging applications of AI in design, urbanism, fabrication, visualization, professional practice, and architectural pedagogy.
The first session features Wentworth faculty and researchers presenting current work in AI and design, including topics ranging from adversarial architecture and machine vision to urban analytics, digital representation, and computational design research.
The second session highlights Wentworth alumni and practitioners who are actively integrating AI into contemporary practice, offering perspectives from architecture, design technology, experiential media, professional organizations, and creative industries.
The event concludes with a moderated conversation and audience Q&A focused on the opportunities, challenges, and future implications of AI for architecture and design education and practice.
A reception and exhibition viewing in the Casella Gallery may accompany the event.
