He has led AI integrations for dozens of billion-dollar companies across 15+ countries — including Google\, Mars\, L'Oreal\, Disney\, Walgreens\, and Harley-Davidson — generating hundreds of millions in enterprise value. A holder of 24+ patents in AI\, computer vision\, and consumer behavior prediction\, he has been named to the Boston Business Journal 40 Under 40\, Forbes Technology Council\, and has secured Series A and B VC funding for Vizit. Under his leadership\, Vizit has earned recognition as a Business Insider Top 15 Technology Startup\, CB Insights Retail Technology 100 winner\, and a leading startup in both marketing and e-commerce by The Lead's Leading 100.\n\n**Marcel Rindisbacher** is the newly appointed Interim Dean of the Questrom School of Business at Boston University\, where he also holds the Ravi K. Mehrotra Professorship in Finance and directs the Ravi K. Mehrotra Institute for Business\, Markets & Society. A financial economist with a PhD from the Université de Montréal and prior faculty experience at the University of Toronto's Rotman School\, he has previously served as Finance Department Chair and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty & Research at Questrom. His research — published in top journals including the Journal of Finance\, Review of Financial Studies\, and Econometrica — spans asset pricing\, dynamic portfolio theory\, life-cycle finance\, and pension design. At Questrom\, Rindisbacher has been a cornerstone of the MS in Mathematical Finance & Financial Technology and PhD programs\, known for bridging rigorous theory with real-world application for institutional investors and retirement systems.
