SUMMARY:AI Leadership Workshop for HR & Learning Executives
DESCRIPTION:Join fellow HR and Learning & Development leaders for a hands
-on\, half-day workshop designed to help organizations move beyond AI awa
reness and experimentation toward building lasting AI capability across t
he workforce.\n\nGenerative AI is not another digital transformation init
iative. It is changing how knowledge work gets done\, how decisions are m
ade\, and how employees interact with the processes\, policies\, and inst
itutional knowledge that define an organization. While many companies hav
e invested in AI awareness sessions\, tool training\, and experimentation
\, far fewer have built the operating foundation required to make AI usef
ul\, trustworthy\, and scalable across the organization.\n\nThat creates
an important opportunity for HR and L&D leaders.\n\nAs AI becomes embedde
d in everyday work\, HR and L&D have the potential to play a much larger
role than simply delivering AI training. They can help build the organiza
tional capability that allows people to use AI effectively\, identify whe
re AI can create meaningful value\, and ensure AI has the context it need
s to perform accurately.\n\nDuring this interactive workshop\, The Kendal
l Project will introduce participants to the Kendall Framework\, a struct
ured approach for moving organizations from AI awareness to AI capability
.\n\nParticipants will work through real challenges from their own organi
zations while exploring:\n\n• Why AI workforce programs often plateau aft
er initial training and experimentation\n• What makes AI transformation d
ifferent from traditional change management\n• How HR and L&D can become
strategic enablers of enterprise AI performance\n• How to identify and pr
ioritize high-value AI opportunities across HR and the broader workforce\
 n• Why organizational context\, including roles\, policies\, processes\,
workflows\, and institutional knowledge\, is critical to AI performance\n
 • How to build AI capability inside the organization rather than creating
long-term dependency on outside vendors or individual AI experts\n• What
leadership alignment is required to move from experimentation to executi
on\n\nParticipants will also apply a problem-first approach to identify p
otential AI opportunities across areas such as talent acquisition\, onboa
 rding\, learning design\, performance management\, workforce planning\, a
nd other knowledge-intensive workflows.\n\nA major focus of the workshop
will be the Context Gap: the gap between what AI knows generically and wh
at it needs to know about your organization to perform effectively. Parti
cipants will explore how the knowledge employees use every day can be cap
 tured\, structured\, governed\, and made usable by AI.\n\nThis is not a l
ecture or a traditional AI training session. Every session is designed to
be interactive. Participants will work through exercises\, discuss what
is actually happening inside their organizations\, compare experiences wi
th other HR and L&D leaders\, and begin building an actionable path forwa
rd.\n\nParticipants will leave with:\n\n• A clearer understanding of what
leadership alignment around AI actually requires\n• A pathway for buildi
ng evergreen AI skills across the workforce\n• A practical understanding
of the Context Gap and the role HR and L&D can play in closing it\n• A st
ructured method for identifying and prioritizing AI opportunities\n• A pr
actical leadership framework for moving from AI awareness to execution\n•
An immediate next-steps plan they can take back to their organization\n\
nWho should attend:\n\n• Chief Human Resources Officers and Chief People
Officers\n• VPs and Directors of Learning & Development\n• Heads of Talen
t Development and Organizational Effectiveness\n• HR transformation leade
rs responsible for workforce AI readiness\n• Senior HR business partners
advising leadership on AI strategy\n\nThe workshop is designed for leader
s who recognize that the next stage of enterprise AI will require more th
an giving employees access to new tools. Organizations need to build the
skills\, context\, processes\, and ownership required to make AI a durabl
 e organizational capability.\n\nDate: Wednesday\, October 7\, 2026\nTime:
  10:00 AM – 3:00 PM ET\nLocation: Cambridge Innovation Center\, 245 Main
 Street\, Cambridge\, MA\nFormat: In-person\, facilitated workshop\nLunch:
Included\n\nAttendance is intentionally limited to 50 participants to ke
ep the workshop highly interactive and give attendees the opportunity to
work through real organizational challenges alongside fellow HR and L&D l
eaders.\n\nFewer awareness sessions. More AI capability your organization
  can actually use.
